What is business intelligence?
Business Intelligence through Excel is a 12-hour education program that guides participants to improve their decision-making processes through dynamic and visual business intelligence tools. This Business Intelligence program responds to the needs of coffee enterprises that have been active in the collection of digital data without having a clear understanding and accurate strategy on how to analyze and visualize the related results for the application of business improvements and increased operations efficiency.
In a combination of live virtual group sessions and practical exercises, participants will foster data-driven processes by working with available data and applying smarter data approaches and expertise. They will add value to their data through easy-to-comprehend data assessments and visualization strategies and will be able to learn how to configure business-intelligent assessment solutions.
Our facilitator.
Hubert Peri is the facilitator and creator of Business Intelligence through Excel.
Economist with a master's degree in International Development and founder of TheFarmerbox. He has more than 15 years of experience working with the public-private and development sector creating integrated and relevant ICT solutions. He focuses on strategic data management and business intelligence in the agricultural sector in Latin America and Africa, also developing mobile solutions and data-driven landscape platforms. He works as an international innovation and technology consultant for ILO and UNDP initiatives.
The format.
Business Intelligence is carried out fully online and is held on a four-week structure, bringing together from eight to ten participants in each cohort.
Each week includes:
A live session with one expert lecturer
Practical exercises
Group discussions
At the end of the program, each participant will be able to synthesize complex information, identify vital key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop dashboards and maps for their daily, monthly, or quarterly reporting and decision-making.
